Hi Every one,
I was hoping that someone could help me, ive been asked to design a webpage where uses can log in and update current products information in a database, other users must also be able to search this database and view the updated info. These updates will be happening eveyweek on all products (thousands of), can some one please help and let me know which languages are needed and where to start as i only know html and have a deadline of twelve months.

You will need to learn ASP or PHP. If the server is going to be on a Windows server - you will be best to learn ASP/MS Access or MSSQL. If it is going to be on UNIX, learn PHP/MySQL.

Is this some type of a shopping cart that is needed?

Thank you very much, No its a website were all a companys suppliers can enter there stock levels. Will MS Access be able to handle thousands of rows, baring in mind that a lot of the suppliers may be updating at the same time?

ms sql is too vulnerable. too badly designed. my sql offers about the same functions but is substantially faster.
