Apply for a credit card, get accepted and pay with it.

Otherwise, try to push the domain to another registrar, but does this ASAP as it can take about a week to finish the push.

BTW, if you need a credit card, you can compare cards and apply for free at my website www.vip.cc

Best of luck with the domain issue.

Go to godaddy, get an account, and set up a domain transfer. It is pretty easy.

BTW, credit cards are much safer to use on the internet than paypal IMO (unless you are using paypal to pay through your credit card).

GoDaddy requires a credit card one way or the other. Either to pay for directly or one added to your PayPal account.

Transfer the domain name to Namecheap, which has no such requirement. Make sure the domain name is unlocked at Registerfly, then sit back, watch, and enjoy the transfer process (except if the domain expires during transferring :().

No, your site will still be up and running so long as you do not change your nameserver. You should receive an email stating a transfer has been initiated. You then should receive a code that you have to go into your godaddy account, go to accept account change, and then type the code in. Then, your domain will have been successfully transferred. I would suggest you call customer service at GD/RF if you have any other questions.

What fonzie is talking about, you would do the same thing if you do it at namecheap or were ever. Godaddy has page of help http://help.godaddy.com/article_list.php?topic_id=160&& and most stuff is the same for other registers. Here is a page to explain the process in easy to understand way http://help.godaddy.com/article.php?article_id=788&topic_id=160&& . Hope this helps~ if you need any help please let me know. :)

Surfertalk- godaddy does not require any type of credit card even on a paypal account.

Why'd GoDaddy not let me check out without adding one, then?

Why not get a PayPal ATM card? Dont confuse it with thier credit card. The ATM card lets you use your funds in your account on thier ATM card. There are no fees in using or getting one and they pay a small % back to you.

A transfer request for this domain has been submitted to your current registrar. We are waiting for approval. This process should be completed in 5-7 business days. You will be notified by email when the approval is received. Please check with your current registrar for more information.

So do i have to do something now or registerfly does it?

All you have to make sure of is that the domain is unlocked at the current registrar. :)

I think it would be even MUCH quicker to transfer to NameCheap than to GoDaddy, because it will internal eNom push, from one reseller to another.

BTW, it really nothing serious if the domain expires if you have initiated transfer process already. Been there, done that... At least 5 times my domain expired while in the transfer process. Nothing wrong with that! When transfer finishes, the additional year is added to expiration date.

Good luck!!!
