Hi, I have created 4 webpages in adobe photoshop 7.0, sliced them up & saved them as seperate x4 HTML files & SEPERATE x4 "images" folder.

Now I linked everything up in dreamweaver but when I upload it to the server the index page shows, but if I click on a link it doesnt go to the page I want it to go to. Damn, im such a noob at web design, though im pretty good at adobe photoshop.

Can somebody tell me what I need to do?... do i need just 1 "images" folder?
But not all the images are the same. im so confused. Please Help !!!!!

Give us the URL to look at -- it will make it a lot easier than trying to guess what the problem is. It doesn't matter how many images folders you have, or none at all. It depends on how you want to organize things.

You have your links pointing to files on your computer rather than to the server space. Example: You have:

<a href="file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/NiNJA/Desktop/VENOM/VeNoM%20Website%20Index/index.html">

It should be something like:
<a href="http://mint.minthosting.com/~teamven/venomwebsiteindex/index.html">

And... it's best to keep all your files as lower case characters on the server for consistency, because *nix servers are all case-sensitive.

Ok thanks.

i really dont understand what I should be doing. I have 4 HTML files & 4 "images" folder that i created in photoshop. Now I cant upload those 4 "images" folder as it has the same name. So what do I need to do?

Can I link everything up on the hard-drive & then upload it to the server?

Please explain the steps to which way you would do this, keep in mind im not bad at photoshop but I only been using dreamweaver for 3 days, lol.

All help is most appreciated :)
