Two drops from today. Picked them based on potential traffic links or existing reg's in other extensions. Obviously, haven't had time to set up traffic, but would like appraisals not based on any traffic.

labstream.com - reverse of Streamlab, which is a very popular product name across several different industries. Labstream used to be some bio science company.

contravel.com - could be short for "Concessionary Travel" or a few other possibilites.

I appreciate any responses.

Contravel, this name has a major no no..it has the word con in it. People see con and think "I am going to get ripped off" but I guess it could has some use...reg fee sounds about right...goodluck man

Re: the words "con" and "travel" -- Yes, I initially thought of that. But then the possible abbreviations of con changed my mind. Concessionary, concorde, continental, and of course "con" has non english meanings as well. Then I noticed how many existing sites contain this phrase in their name, and thought there might be some potential end users:

I'm going to wait and see how strong the backlinks are and if the traffic makes it worth holding on to. In the meantime, I am going to target the above end users and try my hand at soliciting offers. This will be my first attempt at writing a sales letter, so please wish me luck! Got some EXCELLENT IDEAS and help from a past thread. It's threads like that one and the appraisals section that make this a great forum.

Con Analysis

Figuring out the possibilities for con??? is like telling a joke. If you have to explain your reaonsing, it is not good.

I would personally contact the business offices of those you just mentioned and find out if there is a TM or Copyright and to see if it has a World Wide TM or Copyright.

Name Worth $0 ( unless no copyright ) then I would say in the mid $1000's as it is a very easy to remember name and short also.

Hrmmm.... I guess I better find out then if there is a TM issue. Honestly, that never even crossed my mind with this domain name.
