Hi there Namepro'ers!

I've got some domains I'm looking to have someone else (preferably from the forum!) take care of, and would like to know what the asking price should be for them both.

The first one is a side business I started several years ago, did a lot of work on, and got promoted at the regular job and let fall by the wayside. The site has a lot of potential and it currently ranks #1 on google for the keyword, which has pretty awesome search value.

It currently gets about 1100 unique visitors a month and despite me putting 0 effort in to it, I've already made 1000$ in sales this year alone from the website. I love the unique logo on there as well, but the time has come for me to pass it on to someone else as it's potential would be going to waste with the amount of time I have to dedicate to it.

As for providenceautoparts.com, that site gets about 300-500 uniques a month and bounces between ranks 3 and 9 on google. This one could also use an appraisal, as I'd like someone else to take it off my hands.

Both sites are at hostgator.com, and I'd love to get some input. Thanks for the time!

-Matt

Both of these break the 14-character rule of domains.

There are several cases where domain character strength has been able to overcome this standard and retain some value. Unfortunately, this is not one of those cases.

Reg fee (x) 2. IMO.

I forgot to mention I *had* a buyer for 350$ for the buyhomeelectronics.com domain, but I got extremely ill for about 2 weeks last year and he had purchased something else for his needs in the mean time. Surely google ranking and keyword value hold some sway when it comes to price, at least for the first one. Were those factored in to your appraisal?

Thanks for the info by the way, regardless!

This section is not for website appraisals. It's for domain appraisals only. If you have made 1k this year already than it is clearly valuable. Why would you want to sell it for $350 if you make that much with 0 effort? Or are you selling just the domain without the website?

I suppose I was unclear as to what a developed domain means. I'd just like to get it (site+domain) off my hands and get it off my hands quickly. If I can get more, great, but I was hoping for at least 350$ for BHE since I got an offer for that much previously. The second one has not made any income but has bouncing first page results for google.

Where is the traffic coming from for providenceautoparts.com? I just checked google's traffic estiamtor and providence auto parts only gets about 300 searches a month.

I did some cold calling/emailing to the local auto part stories in that area and got approval for all those listings from the individual company owners.

I was hoping to get a buy from that work there, but only got ad content from several before one closed down and the other didn't renew his payment despite saying he got a good lead from the website. I couldn't find either of them online anymore so I took them off my listings.

I've gotten 4 comments from users since it's been up saying thanks or asking for ad space info, but I wasn't even aware I had allowed comments on the site.

Aside from that, I'm just aware of the domain keyword and local searches for the individual stores for traffic sources.

If you are making money, keep them.

If you want to sell based on revenue you will need some pretty good stats. Unless I'm missing something, both of these domains are right around reg fee. IMO.
