Zero. I like domains hacks, but the phrase "no charges" is uncommon to hear.

I cannot immediately see a relevant commercial end-user for this domain, though off hand I cannot think of one for nocharges.com either.

However, I do think it has some potential for development. Possible development could be one of the following (not an exhaustive list though):

- as a site reporting cases where someone is arrested, detained, and then released without charges being levelled against them (quite a social/political site or perhaps a humour based site)

- a site for discounts and/or coupons to be shown on (there are now plenty of tv programs about extreme couponing)

- a charity/community site where locals are willing to help other people without charging them for doing so.

Any of these will require some work in development and updating, investment in time and money, but I am sure that with the right site some money could be earned through advertisements on such a site, but I doubt it would be huge.

With such domains (whatever the extension is, from .com - .ng) I also always think whether a satirical or humour site could be the best, easiest, and quickest development.

Of course if someone wanted to do one of the above developments and thought 'nocharg.es' was the domain name they wanted then the domain would instantly have value, but at the moment I do not think you are likely to get a commercial end user looking for it.

That's true -- you could develop it -- even then though there are other domains that would probably have better potential --- chargesdropped is a little more common and available in many extensions. AllChargesDropped is available across the board.

@Faithful - Your suggestion about a 'law office' made me think about a listing of lawyers who take on 'pro bono' cases, now I think a site like that could prove quite popular, and of course could draw in some associated advertising from lawyers. (Let's face it most legal firms handle pro bono cases to enhance the firms 'reputation' - and law firms pay good money in regards to advertising rates.)

Such a site could be relatively easy to build and maintain, costs would also be low - both big pluses.

There you go rofikhi, now that is a commercial aspect that might be worth pursuing.

I like your style, and I certainly think you're on the right lines...

The domain, regrettably, has very little value, if any. It is creative, however, and I think that if you just shift your focus slightly, on to hacks that are similar in outlook to the nocharg.es domain, but imply more of a benefit, then you could build up a nice selection of somewhat-desirable hacks.
