you spike the ball in volleyball, so both words have a volleyball flare to them, combined with the nuttyness of the word play of the drink make it a neat volleyball team name. Beach volleyball too

Personally its a good name to me. Not for anything generic BUT I can see a TMZ style site taking this name for celeb gossip or things people do when drunk etc. Spiked punch also means spiking the punch bowl with alcohol and of course they will be getting drunk and acting stupid. Hold it for a media company to buy it!
