Please appraise fukushima50.com. I've had tons of offers over the past couple of days but I'm sure that most have been scams. It is registered by me.

Its the brave 50 people working at Japan's Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant. You get scam interest because they believe you only reg this to make a quick nickel off the people getting radiated. I dont feel good about appraising it, lets hope the plant gets contained soon.

It could be a tribute domain. There are rumors of a movie about their efforts. If it's anything like the trapped Chilean Miners then there is going to be a lot of press. Actually there is a lot of press about them now, so who knows.

The current value is high for now, probably in the high $XX to low $XXX range.

I wouldn't hang onto the domain long-term, as the "Fukushima 50" will not be what are remembered long-term (unfortunately).

I usually take these registrations to keep them out of hands of idiot opportunists... What I like to do is forward the traffic to the Red Cross.

Takes the heat off of me for having registered it, plus I don't have to feel like I'm earning "blood money."
