Both related to an application I wrote a couple of years ago. 'pling' is another name for an exclamation mark which was where the original use came from i.e. pling.me, surprise me. Would be interested in your thoughts!

Mr Pling? Why didn't you register Pling.com when you wrote the application? Or when you thought of this idea.
Pling.me is great and all but in order to be a success you'll need the .com

Hi Larry, the original idea was the phrase "pling me" i.e. surprise me, hence pling.me and plingme.com. In truth it never occurred to me to register pling.com - wish I had! Still pling.me isn't bad - I have an idea for developing it which could potentially make it much more desirable, just need the time
