Other than being only a 5L, pronounceable equivalant to the word newbie, it is also a dictionary 1 word as it is a breed of a rare miniature goat found in Australia.

Your opinions on value?

nuwby.com.au looks available to reg, and "Nuwby Goat" and "Nuwby Miniature Goat" yields less than 10 google results each (using quotes). The goat use seems like a rough sale. The newbie angle suffers from "new" is the whole reason the word newbie lives, i never seen it spelled that way. low xx

Thanks for your opinion. I'd have to strongly disagree however.

Not sure about the accuracy of your details. "Nuwby" yeilds 2,700+ google results, did you try googling the one word? So much for never seeing newbie spelled that way. It's Combination of info on the breed and people using it as a play on words for "newbie".

I'm actually negotiating a mid $xxx right now. I'd have to say you were off on this one. Pronounceable 5-Ls in low $xx? Maybe on eBay.

The problem with just checking the term Nuwby on google search results is that there are pretty much no exact searches on this one word when averaged out, so focusing on that keyword will bring in little traffic. Hence why Johname looked at alternative searches such as "Nuwby Goat" and "Nuwby Miniature Goat".

The actual value of the domain will be based on how much you sell it for. If the sale goes through at mid $xxx, then thats what it is worth to the buyer.

As for pronounceable 5L .com's selling for low $xx. It depends on the domain itself and to a domainer, I would agree with johname that the value is low $xx. Being a dictionary word doesn't automatically make it valuable and just because you can pronounce something, doesn't mean it is brandable.

Anyway, Good luck with the sale.
