Indeed very clean, but could benefit from a custom logo and some other custom touches that are bringing a bit more excitement to your site. The first idea, the big plans, the adrenaline that comes with NewStarters; try to catch that visually and apply it to your forum. Whether thats through the application of a different colored backdrop or some other elements - this is where trial and error comes in.

The layout is very clean. However, too much on the light side for me here. I would a favicon ofcourse.

One comment about logo, it could be modified in a better way, like non-bold slogan. and playing with the NewStarters.com font/size
