X.com converted to this symbol (dot) com when I tried to cut and paste ⵝ.com the IDN conversion tool translates the domain to xn--fnj.com

1. Acquisition Reason: I was going to develop an x.com (IDN) website but my plans have changed

2. Markets: IDN stands for “International Domain Name.” The normal domains that you are used to using are all written with the standard ASCII characters with which we are familiar – the letters A to Z, the numbers 0 to 9, and the hyphen. That works well for English, but the fact is that even though English is the language of international commerce, the native tongue of most of the world is not English.

To deal with all of these languages, a system has developed to translate foreign characters into standard ASCII characters via an algorithm known as Punycode. These characters are then preceded by the prefix “xn--“. This process can of course be reversed, and the name can be recoded.

3. Research: Very little

4. End-User Value: Unknown

5. Reseller Value: Unknown

6. Traffic: None

7. Revenue: None

8. Age: 7 months

9. Miscellaneous: Thank you for your time. If it is not a violation of any Rules, please include how much you would pay for the domain name. I am not asking anyone to make an offer at this time. I may decide to keep the name.

I cannot tell exactly which character symbol you are referring to. Can you link to a page which shows the character?

What language is your IDN character from?

Does the domain have any useful meanings in that language?
