This domain is pretty bad. Generally speaking, you don't want the word "and" in a domain name. And for the most part, you also don't want .INFO tacked onto the end.

The Internet is evolving rapidly. There is a mass exodus from personal domain/site development and a slowing of individual business development. In addition, there is an over-abundance of domains names. This can only lead to one result; steady price erosion of domain names and a massive increase in drops.

If you are with me so far, I think you can follow the logic that .COM should be the only TLD in which domainers invest. If there is one exception, it would be .ORG. If you want to make some money stick with these extensions and only buy drops or aftermarket. Avoid hand regging.

That's all for now. Good luck and may the force be with you!

I like this point. Could you expand upon it further please? I like many was originally suckered into buying as many domain names as possible. Sadly, I was a bit late in the game.

Do you see something replacing domain names in the future? Is social media the cause of the mass exodus?

I do not disagree but would like to hear more.

I think it would be best if a senior member could reply to this.

Microguy is one to listen to, even though he has changed his member tag :)

(All "senior member" really means is that someone has got a large post count, for all intents and purposes it is quite an empty title, because we don't even get cookies...one thing I have been petitioning for since I first got here)

Personally I do not mind .info domains but they have to have something special going for them, something that someone specifically goes looking for information about, I have a few domains like this such as "Injury Law" and my newest acquisition "Budget Flights" (perfect for a cheap airline company like ryanair)..

What you have to remember for the most part is that the best domains that don't have millions of dollars of branding behind them are generic keywords and when you start adding words that really do not need to be there you will crash the value considerably and people will wonder why they do not just go get their own branding domain.."House" or "Home" on their own would be great domains and I am sure MG will agree with me (or he might argue just for old times sake lol)

Two words is pretty much the maximum number of letters you should be looking at in this extension, anymore and people won't bother typing it.

I will go with MG on this, I would get as much as you can and dump it if you can for break even :)

Thanks a lot Sparhawke and Johname.

@Sparhawke,I think it came out wrong when I wrote 'senior member' as all I meant was that some experienced domainer(like Microguy,Johname or yourself..) could answer the question put forward by @hopkism. Nothin to do with tags.

Its actually quite helpful when experienced domainers help new ones(like myself) by providing detailed analysis & quite useful inputs in finding sensible Domains.

Good Day
