Please appraise Hello.Mobi thanks!

I think it is a nice brandable.

Yet .Mobi is not a successful gTLD lately, but there were some really nice sales when it became available.

Since I like the domain I see some potential in it. Could be used for ads or app brand.

For the valuation, you just need to wait for the right buyer.

But I wouldn`t price it lower than $1500

Also I would hold 5+ years on this one.

Try to list it on various marketplaces.

Hope you would get a good offer for it.

I love the name :) Is it yours? If yes, congratulations!!!

.Mobi as we all know is thing of past in broader sense, but some names can still be interesting even today I guess.

Hello.Mobi - it sounds to me as good brandable for introduction of mobile services to areas where it is not that common yet. So for example I feel it as good brand for some new operators in some African or Asian countries, can make very nice brand.

This is the name which can easily sell for 5k+ if right end user likes it.

I'd appraise hi.mobi at $100 if that helps. Moral of the story...don't buy .mobi

Imo Hello.Mobi is better then Hi.Mobi

Hello is more internationally recognized (in various languages) and Hello.Mobi has also much better visual symetry the Hi.Mobi.

When speaking brands in other TLds then .com, sometimes shorter is not better :)

I agree with lolwarrior, hi.mobi vs hello.mobi

I would def. go with hello.mobi

Some domainer`s mind just works that way, he has probably good short .coms but it wouldn`t work for gtlds IMO.

by the way @Want2learn if you willing to sell it for just $100, I will buy it from you. :xf.wink:

I love to play buy low sell high game. If you have any price on your mind just let me know.

This might be a pre-purchase appraisal. Hope so as it would be an epic waste of everyone's time if you don't own it or plan on buying it!

In the world of domains "hi" is superior every time. That said, it's .mobi so really no value regardless...

Do you own this domain? If not you posted in the wrong section.

5. Domain Appraisals and Website Reviews (»)
5.1. All appraisals below $10 must include a unique explanation to support the assessment.
5.2. You may only bump your thread with a new message (e.g., status update) once per 24 hours unless otherwise stated in the forum section.
5.3. No external links for an appraisal.
5.4. Post only domains you own under appraisals, otherwise use the Pre-Purchase Appraisal forum.
5.5. Reserved.
5.6. Reserved.

It would appear you're only asking for an appraisal because of the recent reported sale. That said, this domain is worth (literally) whatever somebody is willing to pay. ie $1,726 (2017) and $20,000 (2007)

That`s fine Richard.

I am not sure if he is the rightful owner of this domain but I am glad @Grilled share some stats on this one.

It is like brainstorming, I just checked domainstorming.com while writing this - of course its taken :xf.smile:

thanks @Grilled - WhoIs shows current owner of Hello mobi in Egypt, does not match OPs other appraisal whois

That being said, this one has a nice ring to it, despite it being a mobi

^ first thing I thought of when I saw the name. Of course I said it out loud in the weird voice and everything.

I like the name, and I really don't like .mobi names. Who knows what it could go for. my guess is stick a 3k price tag and wait for the right person to come along.

This thread is a great example and a good lesson for:

- don`t buy domains that you can`t build a business on it

Apparently, Amr has last seen 3 years ago on nP.

Thank you all for your contributions.

But still, I would probably buy it if it was available for $100 or so. :cautious:
Dropping 20 grand on the hot flavor of the month isn't always the way to go I see . . .

it's a very bad idea to put your money into .mobi nowadays...
hellomobi.com is probably for sale if you are looking to invest vs gambling

take a look at recent .mobi sales - "hello" was the only $1K+ sale for the last 12 month
escort.mobi went for $100. loan.mobi - $405. real.mobi - $273...
is "hello" any better than "loan"?
yet, whole "mobile loans" "money on the go" concept sold for under $500 :)

imho
