Registering domain names can be a lot like buying Gold. About 12 years ago I started buying one ounce Gold coins from a dealer. I knew that in order to buy these coins I must pay a premium over the spot price. That is the margin where the dealer makes his profit.

Domains are much the same in that when you register an available domain it needs value added or time to appreciate/depreciate before the buyer can realize his profit. Sometimes the value can rise, sometimes the value can fall.

I think this domain would be much much better without the "7". The minus $50 rule applies to this domain. Just subtract $50.00 from the amount you paid for this domain and you have probably the most accurate appraisal possible on this domain. I also think it will depreciate over time unless you develop. Grace delete ASAP. IMO.

Hacker 7 ? Why not hacker 6 or 66 or 9 or 33 ?
What makes the domain special ?

LOL, actually if you look them up, hacker 1 through hacker 10 .com are registered. Hacker 11 is not so far. Some of them actually have messages in their registration information asking not to contact them.

1-10 are taken with a fair amount of creation dates in the 2010-11 (might mean people use these names for a bit and then dump them)

Only one i saw that was warning in the whois was h10 that said dont send letters

h10 reg to 2020 lol

hacker training 7 days a week

Not a fun name to own or try to make a profit from in my opinion. regfee

Imo the best numbers you could chose was either

10 (Grade,ten)
1 (First)
7 (week)

Undeveloped, worth low $XX. Not too many end users looking for the keyword/# combo.

Negative. Availability shows different.

At this stage of your domaining career, hand regging is equivelant to buying lotto tickets.
Put a temporary block on your credit cards and read, read, read. When you have a better understanding, you may stand a chance of making money rather than loosing it.
Good luck.
