Reseller price of high $xx. Maybe mid $xxx-$1,000 for an end user. I think the search volumes are skewed by the band also with the same name so be careful not to put any music related ads on it.

Keeping it far from music is an absolute must. However, this would be great for a Green/Recycle theme. Perhaps even a city directory of garbage pickup/removal companies, landfills, secondhand stores, etc. This is a stretch, but you can even pitch it to those who like to turn garbage into gold types. Pickers, treasure hunters, storage buyers, etc. Low-mid $xxx range. Potentially Low $xxxx with a motivated buyer.

the keyword is pretty good. People often underestimate the value of garbage. You can make a lot of money with it's disposal or recycling it. I'm not too familiar with .us but the $xx reseller, mid $xxx enduser prices seem pretty good appraisals.

There seems to companies out there working on converting garbage to energy as well. A company on the east coast claimed to have been successful with this already. Don't know too many of the details and it seems pretty far out to me, but you can look into it.

I agree with RevolutionaryDomains, I see it well for waste management/recycling companies, which will have no fear :imho:to use "garbage" in their own firm name.
Garbage is a valuable resource if used and treated properly, now it erroneously can generate a negative perception, cause current society (wrong) development model is based on the trow-away concept, which :imho:is insane and leads only to natural resources devastation.
Potentially mid-high xxx$ - low x,xxx$ for the right end user, even if the .us extension does not help IMHO and could lower that range.

Very true. I think in that regard "waste" would be a key word for garbage companies to want to use. Garbage and trash are a little trickier to sell. I don't see much use though for a garbage company to pick up a domain name... they already have a monopoly practically in their area and I dont see why they would want national traffic. Even recycling centers are pretty localized. I guess it would require more research to sell this one properly. I looked up past sales of any name containing the word "garbage" and there was only one!!! "Garbagetruck.com" and that was for around $2000. It would probably be picked up by someone who has completely different intentions on what to do with this name.. and I also now believe with the lack of interest, it will probably be difficult to sell which makes it more unlikely to fetch four figures. But you never know so GL!
