I am leaning towards renewing this domain Dishwasher.mobi(even though it is a .mobi .) lol.

Would you renew if you owned it ?
All input seriously considered !

I personally would just let it drop, but I am not a fan of .mobi's and have always avoided them.

.Mobi is a failed extension only some gems will get reasonable price

That's probably the best advice available. I don't want to say no one will be searching for a dishwasher on their cell phone because one day many people may be as they are looking for the best one to find locally...

However it is not worth the renewal fees. It is hard to find an end user and even harder to develop yourself.
