I have been in and out of numismatics for decades, and coin grading has become huge over the last 5-10 years. I personally think it is a great name with plenty of potential, though it is a bit long and doesn't carry many exact monthly searches or google results. The problem is, there are so many coin grading companies, such as the two largest and most respected, PCGS and NGC. Not to mention the dozen or so others [ANACS, SEGS, PCI, just to name a couple], who are essentially second rate, but still capture a good portion of the market.
Needless to say, competition is fierce in this niche, so putting a price on it is tough. However, in my opinion, this is a good candidate for a minisite or review & directory site offering comparisons between all the many grading companies, their services, processes, grading frequency per grade [MS60 - MS70], or even the lesser grades, etc. Maybe take it a step further and offer spot gold & silver prices, get some local coin shops to rally behind you if you get serious about development.
Though it is never a guarantee, I would think there should be plenty of possible end-users. Starting with your local coin shops, all the other coin and even pawn shops nationwide, the other coin grading companies, and even coin collectors individually who may be needing a memorable online presence.
Really a great find. :imho: All the best and sorry for the lengthy post.
