I've been doing internet marketing for about a year now and quite enjoyed it. Now I'm looking to expand my business into buying and selling domains.

I'm a total newbie in this neck of the woods.

Anyway, Google announced its new Chromebook Laptop today which will be available for sale next month. The Chromebook will be manufactured by Acer and Samsung.

When I saw the news, I decided that this might be the time to try my hand at flipping domains, so I bought the five following domains.

CHROMEBOOKLAPTOPFORUM[dot]COM
CHROMEBOOKACCESSORIES[dot]COM
ACERCHROMEBOOKREVIEWS[dot]COM
SAMSUNGCHROMEBOOKREVIEWS[dot]COM

I know there may be issues with the trademarked terms, but applereviews[dot]com and dellreviews[dot]com and ipadreviews[dot]com all seem to be doing fine, so I thought I'd take the risk.

So do you think these have any potential?

Welcome to NamePros, tculp.

These are all Trademark Infringements. Try to get your money back from your registrar, if they are new Regs. If not, delete them and steer clear of TMs moving forward.

Wow. That was a serious newbie mistake, wasn't it?

I just read through a bunch of other threads on trademarks, and I read about the big lexus court case.

Looks like there is a lot of debate on the topic (especially with review sites), but the best policy is probably to just stay away from TMs.

I'm gonna delete those registrations. I'm still within the 5 day period for a full refund.

I definitely don't need any C&D letters!

$0, trademarks aside. Looking at it quickly makes you wonder if its ebook or book, to preview or top review.

They're terrible names with or without TM.

If you registered in order to setup a real review site then there is likely not a huge TM issue as there is likely nominative use at play. For resale it is bad faith.

Chromebook. Worst name ever. And they thought iPad was bad?!

You must do what you can to get a refund/credit from these homeless puppy names. Call them on the phone and beg if you have too, Tell them there TM names and you cant sleep at night. (i am assuming you just reg them) Goodluck
