I personally think it's worth more.

There are many factors such as Brandability, Target Market, Search Volume and most importantly 'common sense'.

Appraisal: low to mid xx

The main thing about estibot is that it is great for getting search metrics and similar metrics for your competition but it sucks at telling you what a domain is worth and what to do with it, BestDietTips is certainly better than some of the domains I have seen but since it is a .net all traffic will naturally flow to the .com (that is already developed) which means unless it gets to the number one spot without any sign from your competition for a variety of terms it doesn't matter how pretty it looks.

The trick with getting a .net for such an endeavor is making sure the .com is nowhere in sight, if it is at the #1 spot (or #2 in this case) then you are attached to another object by an incline plane, wrapped helically around an axis. Or, in other words, screwed.

You will pretty much have to make a monster informational site for it to suck up any traffic but it is possible, people are always spending money on this kind of thing but people are not going to pay so much money for a name like this I don't think in a crowded marketplace without something unique to define it.

You are far better slowly getting some good articles on there in a theme, which might bring you in some cashflow to further fund your domaining, I agree with the rest with their values.

Sparhawke yours was the best explanation. Now I will study all that I can and will try to make better decisions on selecting quality domains in the future.
