---- Research ----
- Domain Availability - (Using http://domainsite.com)
Domain Availability shows your potential selling power of the domain. If the domain is so popular that people would register even TLD's of lower value, then that shows strong selling power should you decide to sell it on the name alone.
Below is your Availability Report...

(Assuming you didn't register those names, alllocal, the domain without the s at the end, seems to be the more liked of the two with +3 more Reg's then your plural version of the name, lowering the value for now on your name. We'll see how google searches and keywords hold up to it though.)
- KeyWord Selector Tool - (Using http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/)
The KeyWord Selector Tool is an awesome utility found at the site listed above for seeing everyday use of keywords or terms. If your term(s) has an everyday use of more then 1,000 searches that will usually raise the value of your name to most people IMHO. I usually grade keywords +$2.50 every 5000 searches done that month for it.
No suggestions for alllocals. (To be expected though as a one word search)
(I also found no searches for just the word 'locals')
However, for this word there is...
49532 local
Following my algorithm of +$2.50 IMHO to value for every 5,000 searches you can see the value of local versus locals.
In general local appears to be a good word, other common searches above local were even higher!
195006 local weather
154355 local news
I just checked those domains though, not available.
As for the first keyword 'all' it has...
134430 all
(Wow nice search results for all, I guess if I'm regging names in the future I'll try and get names with all in front =), probably why companies named themselves allstar, or allstate etc.)
(all is your most powerful keyword here, with locals doing nothing for you, if it were local (which you should try to aquire) you would have a powerful combination. Never the less there may still be value here. I'll continue my research below.)
- Relevence of Terms(s) [If multiple keyWords, or 3-4 LETTER based] -
If your domain name had multiple keywords this section is the research done to see the different potential meanings your domain name could have and the value IMHO I think would be the best way to sell it on versus others.
I think all and local would work better in my opinion then all locals. It could be used for anything local. Go to allLocal.Com, get anyinformation on anything locally, it would be an amazing site. But all locals? Does this make any sense, what exactly is a ...locals? Lets find out.
After some research of the term.
Looks like a movie uses the term.
The Locals (2003)
The Locals Directed by
Greg Page
Tagline: Two boys take a trip into the heartland of evil and meet . . . The Locals. (more)
Plot Outline: Two best friends, Grant and Paul, hit the country road for a night of fun, but unfortunately take a short cut to their fate... where they meet the Locals. (more) (view trailer)
It appears the locals could be used to refer to the locals, the local people. Reavealing an all together different potential for your name.
http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=locals+sandals&hl=en&lr=&sa=X&oi=froogle&ct=title
reaveals a site that sells sandels using the term locals, so all locals would work pefect for this company, alllocals brand.
other selling points for the name include...
http://www.tastelocalwine.com/
I'll be mentioning these sites again in another section below, but this reveals potential use as a site for alllocals to be a wine tasting site for all the locals. Great potential here actually using the word, despite my first thoughts. I think there is more to the name then is given credit. You may have gotten lucky on your reg in this case.
The word all and locals seem to have potential together.
- Google Searches (http://google.com) -
Google Searches shows the use of the word in everyday language and how likely someone is to see the word therefor and consider your name for sale or for personal use.
Results 1 - 10 of about 41,800,000 for all locals. (1.59 seconds)
Results 1 - 10 of about 140 for alllocals. (2.64 seconds
When searching for just all locals, that yeilds an amazing return result. It's surprising with that many google searches there weren't more TLD's regged which is rare for something like this.
Weak all name searches, but to be expected in this case. Most people will search the other way.
- Sites Found Using the Name (Terms) -
The purpose of this section is to examine sites that use your name. If there are sites already using your name with TLD's of higher or lesser value then yours, your name has good potential selling power to those companies.
http://www.adr.org/sp.asp?id=22074
(for some reason that shows up first on the search for it)
http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/swest/msg081415483637.html?33
(this was the second site that showed up, again...what?)
http://www.iuoe.org/link_system/local_links.asp
(This site perhaps has some relevance to the term, but not really)
I coudn't find any sites on the search term all locals by it's self.
Searching just the term locals for companys you could sell to using the strong keyWord all in front of revealed the sites I mentioned before listed here for easy readability.

- TLD - (Top-Level Domain) Value
My assessment is based on my personal experience in selling domain names.
In general the TLD's below have more positive value then other TLD's. Most other TLD's IMHO have negative value to most general names.
.COM names +$3.00
.NET names +$1.50
.ORG names +$1.00
.BIZ names +$.20
.US names +$.10
.CC names +$.5
.INFO names +$.1
Though the value of the TLD's is also dependent on the name and the use of the TLD with it.
In most cases however, the .COM, .NET and .ORG are the way to go for general purpose names.
(You own the .COM, and it fits the name, so it's value is up +3% or $3)
---- Value ----
Domain Availability Value - >$-10
Pricing Guide: You lose money here because alllocals had no other registered TLD's. No worries though, because the goolge searches later makes up for your loss here.
KeyWord Selector Value ->+$10
Pricing Guide:all is a powerful keyword +$100, and locals (plural version) is a weak no search term lowering it's value -$90, get local and you have a +$100
Relevance of Terms Value ->+$25
Pricing Guide: Terms have great relevant potential use. As you saw to the store, to movies, to whatever it is, wine tasting. IMHO I believe it makes it a powerful combination despite other information. Because it's all speculative, I can't give you a high value plus here as my estimates are conservitive. I think you can consider it worth the $30 more for now. Also two word names are worth less then one word terms in most cases. So it's value drops a bit here because of this.
Google Searches Value- >+$80
Pricing Guide: Hot damn, that is a lot of sites that use the terms all and locals together. That alone should give you some strong selling power, I say +$100. The term alllocals by it's self does not get you very far, so it lowers it onyl slightly by -$20 in this case.
Sites found using the name Value ->+$15
Pricing Guide: I see some minimal potential, at least 3 possible selling sites from my very quick overlook of the domain name.
TLD Assesment Value ->$3.60 (using 3% of total so far)
Pricing Guide: Basic + 3% applies here since the name valued over $100. Just the method I use from experience in selling and watching sales.
---- Estimated Value ----
Final Value:
$123.60 to mid $$$
---- Reccomendation ----
I know that seems strange for this domain name to have a tag value of $123.60 for a name you just registered, but I truly believe it has a resell value to a reseller at that amount. I think you might make a sale on SEDO if you advertise it there. Dont' spend to much money doing it, but I bet it will sell for about that amount at the minimum or more if your lucky.
Good luck with your domain name.
