domain PLEASE ADVISE! SalesLocater(dot)com

I'm not sure what this site is worth. i think it would have great potential if developed properly. Does any one have any input for me? Would it even sell on the open market for domain only or would it only have worth if it was developed with tons of traffic? saleslocater(dot)com Its catchy and easy to remember. And there are tons of people looking for sales? Probably only sounds good in my head like most of my other domains, but your input would help.

i did check spelling and both spellings are correct.

fact is, if you type a poss misspelling into google and it suggests you spelled it wrong it will show the results for what it thinks is correct "Did you mean: locator", i do see now that both are acceptable spellings. I would suggest if you are thinking of developing to obtain the "Locator" version as this is what Google shows to be the most common spelling for the phrase

I do see what you mean. google does seem to think locator is the most common spelling. but if you do punch in locater it does give you results for locater but asks if you meant locator.

yes but most people spell the term "locator" so unlikely you will sell this term for much or get much organic traffic if developed, more than 90% of people searching the term will find "LOCATOR" instead

Not only Google suggests locator, but Dictionary refers me to locator as well. I will have to dust off the old dictionary to see if there's an entry.
