Hi,

I have a question regarding a meaningful English dictionary word that I found out is still not registered as .com or any other extension.

I am not sure whether to register it or not. I guess that could be used as a general domain name but it would require some thought behind it before making it work for the purpose.

Estibot values it at reg fee but I guess it could have a potential if the right buyer comes along.

Not sure what to do...

register it and post it for sale in this forum.
If you don't get any takers in 72 hours, delete it and it'll only cost you $0.25

I did not know that the registration of a domain could be deleted and pay such penalty.
Is this normal or you know a registrar that allows this?

Do you just drop the name in the control panel to get the refund, or do you have to do something special like call customer service?

at Moniker you can simply delete the domain using the control panel within 96 hours of the creation date

$ refunded as pre-paid funds (minus $0.25 fee)
