Place names

I watch placenames here and i see that a lot of placenames with value have .Info but I know also the .Com has value and the .Net i am not shure about..
But how about the .Biz extension, is this only populair when it has a nice placename in front of it?
I would realy like to hear your opinios!

Depends on the place, IMHO.
I like them best in the ".COM" and ".ORG", though there is room for them in the ".INFO/.US/.BIZ", as well. Regional domains are perhaps best in the ".BIZ" for "Business Directory" or "Business Guide" sites, in my view. Valuations in resale would largely depend on the perceptions for this type of development/use with that particular place, population, tourism, travel, history, demographics, business climate, so on and so forth.
Generally, I like them in this context and own one myself.

I think most people would go for the .com and .net and if they are reged then go for .info.

I like the .com as well, but if it is something like toronto.info, then I would register it without thinking!

I'd reg toronto.com even if toronto.info was available.
