This is quite a nice looking name, the word pirate works well with the extension. Im not sure the situation with pirate radio these days.

As for Value, not sure, I know .fm has a high reg fee, but dont know of any sales to compare to.

Good luck with the name.

sorry don't really see any value in this one. Holyroller why does pirate go well with fm?

"Pirated" goes very well with Radio. As, if you copied radio to a CD or Cassette, it was referred to as pirated. Keywords in .fm typically don't sell well, if at all. However, I think Pirate.fm sounds fantastic and has the potential for resale, and quite bit of potential for development.

I own Religion.fm/.am for about 2 years now - Im still holding, with very few/little offers. I would expect yours to be in the same range. Sounds great - but without development, your probably out of luck.

I love this name but i have no idea how much it is worth. I havnt seen a single sale of .fm so far, but this just flows off the tip of your tongue.

Reg. fee+ - Reg. fee+/+, IMHO.

Best option may be for its development, as well! :music: :talk:
Best of Luck.

OK... since nobody sees what I see, I will comment.

$750+ minimum end-user. That being said...

There are only two likely varieties of end-user for this name. The first is an online radio station that wants to brand itself as a "pirate" in the industry. The second is a real-world radio station that has already branded itself as "The Pirate" or "Pirate FM" or similar. There is a popular radio station here in Mobile, Alabama called "106.5 The Pirate". Their URL is www.1065ThePirate.com. If I were in charge of their advertising, I'd much rather use www.Pirate.fm, which leads me to believe they (or another similarly branded station) would be willing to pay good money for the domain.

Of course, if you owned PirateFM.com, you'd be in a much stronger position to sell them as a pair for mucho dinero, since many users would type it in as "PirateFM.com" if they heard it advertised as "Pirate.fm".

All IMHO, of course.

IMO it is a decent domain but I don't think that extension sells well. If you don't develop be aware that it can take some time to find the right buyer. In the meantime the renewal fees add up. For that reason domains like this are difficult to value but my shot would be up to mid-$$$.

I love it. Perhaps 'pirate radio' is not a common expression outside the UK, but its certainly a common term here. holy roller has it right with exactly what I saw- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirate_radio -I think its a hard name to sell, even though there are some blatant potential end users though, but I agree mid $xxx should be no problem.
