Good morning,
I have a simple and straightforward question: I would like to create a portal talking about memes and internet phenomena.
I own those two names:

PLANETMEME.COM
PLANETMEMES.COM

From a brand point of view, would you advice the use of the singular or plural form?
Also, do you see any major issue (english, etc.) with the domain itself?

Thanks
Aldo

PlanetMeme.com

The singular seems like it would fit perfectly. :)

Take both and redirect one to the other.

I'd personally use 'meme' to create a brandable domain upon all 'memes'. If you say Planet Memes, it makes me think about all the memes for the 'planet' (are there any?).

With Planet Meme, it makes me think of all the memes that do exist.

Planet Meme. Branding on a plural (generic) word can easily become a problem.

Of course keep and use Planet Memes to forward to it.

I agree with forge and David Walker.
In this case, the singular is so much better than the plural.

I'd say meme but then I don't even know what a meme is so...

I like the way the singular sounds as well, for all the reasons listed.
Obviously keep the "memes" version for redirecting as also already suggested!
