Hmmm well don't mortgage the house over free appraisal programs. I did a test this morning on some of the free programs. I got prices from 2,700 to over 100K on the same domain name. A really big auction site. If you go by the free programs you could give a good domain away cheap or think a domain is worth far more than what it would actually sell for.

Thanks globe I totally agree, I just used this as an example.I already have a value in mind for these domains, just interested in other peoples opinions.
And I definately didn't remortgage the house for these domains :)

I think these are good names, but the .net really hurts.
You should definitely contact at least 10 largest trackball/input device sellers online and offer these names.
I would say that price can go up to low-mid xxx.

I agree the .net does hurt a bit, but the .com's arent developed.
So it should be relatively easy with the right SEO to rank highly for these domains, I also own output devices , net
So exact searches for the three is domains is as follows:

track balls , net 50,000 exact searches (Google)
input devices , net 74,000 exact searches (Google)
output devices , net 15,000 exact searches

139000 exact searches global for all domains

So based on this what do you guys think? Worth developing?

I think with that many exact searches you should develop. What is the advertiser competition like and average CPC? I have a site with around 14,000 exact searches per month with moderate advertiser competition and fairly low average CPC. But, i get organic traffic and the site makes bank for me. So I would develop.

Develop and see what happens. Find exactly what it is people are looking for when they search for track balls, input devices, and output devices and give it to them. Some information on the topic with some adsense is one direction.

Wait

Upon checking out the google tool im only seeing 720 exact searches for track balls. What tool are you using?

Search for trackballs, one word, not track balls and you should get a different result.
I have already started developing trackballs , net but only with an amazon store and not much content yet, so it wont really rank in the search engines, but I will add some content eventually and try to increase my ranking.

Good call. Site looks good already. Good luck with it. Have you seen any good results with amazon stores before? I have one in the works just need some traffic.

[off topic]

Can you build a store with Amazon content that is not actually in your stock, or are all of these products in your stock and you are using Amazon for a shopping cart system?

Yes Eric, that's right. The items on trackballs , net aren't mine and aren't in my stock. It's all handled through amazon astore for which I get a comission.

Anyway don't want to start a whole new topic. If anyone else has anything to add about my domains, please do, otherwise that's it. Thanks for your comments

Thanks Mike. No this is my first attempt with Amazon Stores as well. I will probably put some Adsense on there as well, as I dont think Amazon pays out that much something like 4%.
