i already have sent news module in center

but i need one more

just like your site.. i want welcome text and pic on top and news module below welcome text in center

can u help me?

you start off with 1 default box in the centre, when your logged in as admin on the front page you'll see edit, just edit that with your welcome message. To put more boxes in centre use news in the admin panel.

there is no default welcome text message... i am working on a live website.. client has removed that welcome message.. how can i enable it?

also will i able to put there image?

Its easy, Im not actually sure about phpnuke, im using MKPortal. But you have to make a block, go to Block Positioning or something, then put the block you made to "Center" and change its order to 1. Its instructions to MKPortal, im not sure if its correct though :)
