From PhpNuke to a directory script. Is it possible

I would like to ask the programming specialists here:

I have a phpNuke site. I use the links module mostly. I would like to transfer the site to a directory script: indexu, or another one. Is it possible to transfer the database too? What do you think?

I have 2000 links already and wouldn't like to lose them. Any input would be appreciated

Yes it is possible. I think you need a database specialist rather then programming specialist here.

Export the data. And make a shell table with the structure of the site you are importing to.

Now modify the existing database structure without losing the data so that it mathces the new database structure.

And import that data in the new script.
