PHPBB realted ?

i am a newbie in forum stuff
i have copied many Smiles
in the folder where default smiles were site/images/smiles

but they dont appear in admin panel when i click add a smile it ask for
Smiley Code ?
Smiley Image File = drop down menu(the smiles are listed there that i want on)
Smiley Emotion=?

Do i have to fill each time the code and smiley smotion for 100's of smiles i added

second i have downloaded some avatar where i upload them

and also on my site i dont see and edit avatar link WHY


please help

You just asked me about this on MSN, I believe. You need a .pak file if you want to add all the smilies at once. Otherwise, you will have to unzip them and upload them in binary to the smilies folder before adding each one individually.

For .pak smilies, try phpbbhacks.com.

oh my i think i will go for .Pak else if uploaded 50+ gifs its will take lot of my time

Check in your config page on the ACP

No i mean how do i make them active on forum as theres no option right now where i/member can choose to edit avatar settings

If you have a cache system, recompile it. If not, you should be able to edit your avatar from your profile if avatars are enabled in the Admin Control Panel.
