Hi, guys:bah:

I am getting a headache with phpadsnew, and its quite confusing! If somebody else used phpadsnew before i would love to hear some advice.

I would like to manage ads on my website! I have a site that averages about 10,000 impressions a day, which is ofcourse a lot less but I would definitely like some advice managing the damn ad management!Especially the one on deliverying the ads, and the code you need to put on your web pages!

It does seem a bit confusing at first, but once you figure it out it's actually pretty easy. You just need to read the documentation over and over and over and over until you get it. :D

These steps may help:

1. Create a publisher
2. Create a zone
3. Add a new advertiser
4. Add a new campaign
5. Add your banners
6. Generate the invocation code which is the code you'll put on your website.

I can't remember if that's all correct for sure or not though, you may need to Create an advertiser before you create the publishers and zones, but I don't think so. But I think if you follow them steps along you'll see all the options in that order and come across the invocation option in the last steps.

In the invocation code there are Source Code, and Frame option!

What do i do there?

I think the Frame option is for if you plan on using your ads in an IFRAME. I always use the Remote Invocation for JavaScripts Option.

The target frame is for where you want the page to load when the banner is clicked. So _blank would make it load in a new window and _top would make it load in the same window as the one it's being clicked from. I think the source option is just something you can use to name your pages, you should just be able to leave that blank.

I don't change any options except for the "Don't display the same ad twice on one page"

Yep, it's a piece of work. The manual is very useful too, print it out (yea, it's a long one), have it next to you when you're setting up.
