Php script needed

Hello, Im going to start a website similar to linkbee.com, slackernetwork.com (caution slackernetwork.com has adult links), heavylite.com.
I need a php script that lets users post a link in a section of my site (only viewable to me (admin) as a text document) people should need to regiseter to post links.

So the site will work like this, you register as a member, you can submit a link, I (admin) approves the link and addes it to the main page. I would like to be able to see who subbmited the links.

But, I'd also like to have a script to see how many people are online, how many links have been submited, and who the top submitter is.

I think this should be a fairly simple task for any php coder, (the hardest part probably being making a members only section)

Im kinda on a budget does $65 sound fair, or too low for anyone. Please tell me if it is...
I will also need to know who you have worked for in the past with coding and such.

to be honest everything you ask for is quite basic.

Out of interest why do you want the submitted links to be in a text file why not use a proper database? it would be easier in my opinion. It could be made so that links do not show until authorised quite easily by having an extra field that has a flag if authorised (and the page that displays them to use a where clause)

It doesn't matter how easy you think the project is, it matters on how long it'll take to develop it. Let's say it takes 5 hours to custom code this solution for you. At $55 you're asking someone to code this for $11/hour. I think most established programmers don't work for that little amount of money.

Note: the hours I came up with is just an example; not saying it'll take 5 hours to code what you're asking - it may be more or less.

I asked for a text file because I figured it's easier and would cost less but a regular database would be fine I guess...

The free script sounds like its for directories, my site will be a link dump, like slackernetwork.com if you would go there I think you will see the difference between a directory and slackernetwork.com

Some people will be submitting links to websites that they do not own, so I don't want to require link backs on their first submission.

I think I need to add this to my first post here, I need to be able to see which member posted the link

Well, I don't have that much money because Im buying domains as soon as they drop but sometimes im too slow and pay for it but don't get it. So godaddy I think will just give me something like store credit.

$75 seems like a fair price. MySQL is, IMO, a lot easier than a text database to create and manage.

to be honest with you i tihnk that $65 would be a fair price for this, it wouldn't really take long to make and wouldn't require any difficult coding, just inserting and updating of a database, and I would also say that MySQL is easier, as the commands required would be far simpler, although what would you want a members only section for? would this be where members could view the links they have submitted, i am willing to do it for the original price, and if you want to contact me please send me a pm, or email to [email protected]
