The issue with "newbie" domains is they don't allow you to expand into more advanced topics. So the only learning path for your visitors to follow is one that leads right out of your site.

It's like running a forum from NamePros.com vs NameNewbies.com. NamePros supports a newbies section, but does NameNewbies support an advanced section? Wouldn't that be a little odd?

I don't think it is a real problem, newbies who learnt through your website will continue to read your articles if they find adapted articles

As long as you clearly precise what kind of content it is (e.g. in a category) , I really don't see the problem here

so from what you are saying, the book with topic " ..... guide for dummies" is that only for dummies , little smart , or genius people cant look at that book ? no

in newbie php you can have several categories , all kind of things

The "For Dummies" book concept is one in which information is presented in an easy to understand manner. But no, you won't find advanced material in their books.
