PHP image output question

I want to be able to have an html tag like

<img src="somewebsite.com">

And then in my index.php run some code that will output a picture depending on the URL of the site that the above html is on

Does anyone know of a code snippet that I could use

What I am planning on doing is have that img tag on a bunch of my sites and then depending on the site I will output the pic.
