I have someone wanting to buy a domain I have.

www.phonecalladvice.com.

I would like to sell the whole (neglected) site, but this person just wants to buy the domain. It has about 900-1300 monthly visits from when I was working on it before.

Ideas on what would be a good number to start negotiations?

Tell em that you're planning to work on the site, but would consider if the offer is attractive enough. Let them make the first move.

Warning: This could turn the buyer away if his budget & plans aren't big.

Also, make sure that its not the "appraisal scam".

Before starting this thread on NamePros, I said that I was willing to sell the domain and site for 2XXX, and he came back and asked how much for just the domain.

So... I will ask him to make an offer, but any advice on what should I be looking at reasonably?

sounds like the appraisal scam that just happened tome recently,this guy will not make you an offer and will insist on a appraisal ,these guys are losers
