Hey guys,
I took a "web animation" class last term which was basically just a flash class. At the end, we were supposed to build a flash portfolio site for our final. Please tell me your opinions.
The flash file itself is 34k. All images and text is being pulled from outside jpg and txt files. Alternatives for having all pictures in a single movie, or even splitting up sections into different movies made ridiculously, unnecessarily large files. So this was more work, and beyond the scope of what the class covered... but I think it was worth it.
I also was making a bit of a statement. I think people overuse flash and put all this whiz-bang jazz in because they think it looks cool. So this was sort of minimalist in design.
(note: I think the sound is annoying, but I wanted to make sure the teacher knew that I knew how to put sound in :p I also understand some of the buttons might be confusing as they are not labled - a design no-no, but I figured I should try something artsy and see what happens...)

c&c please!
p.s. - I had a teeny bit of flash experience previously, but mainly when used as an animation tool, not actionscripting and stuff.
