I am a new to this and appreciate any comments:

- not yet parked, thus no traffic
- it will not draw type-in traffic

BUT

- is highly brandable
- has no trademark issues

The combination of permanent and watch (not clock, but guard,control, etc)
would suggest for example uses such as:

Security
Financing
Internet

Short, in every area where permanent control/monitoring/security is an issue.

I highly appreciate any appraisal and any further hints.

Good, brandable name; entirely dependent upon how you market it.
BTW, when I first saw it I thought of TV... of watching a lot of tv.
You're right, it is nicely open as a brandable name... but the 'perma' isn't immediately visibly ideal in suggesting a meaning with 'watch'. It could mean many things to many people. Sometimes that's a strong point in a name, but in this case I'd say: you gotta spell it out to them, rather than waiting for someone to notice this name and apply a meaning.
Because when I read your comments, I felt much stronger about the use of this name. Very good use. It's not a juicy, exciting name like many security firms seem to want, but a very descriptive and serviceable name... like many OTHER security firms seem to want, ha. (incidentally, I used to moonlight as a bouncer/security for the fun/excitement, while my main job was commercial artist - try that for disparate jobs, ha).
Some strong factors, some weak factors, urge me to give it a somewhat limp, medium, grey appraisal:
resellers: low to med xx
end users: high xx to just over xxx.
But if you're new to domaining, this is a start in a good direction. Better than many names I slaughtered my time and cc with registering!
