Hello!

I just got domain forzaforum[dot]com

Forza motorsports is very popular xbox racing game series.
I bought this domain to build new forum, but now I think maybe I can sell it too, but not sure how much it worth.

I would highly appreciate any opinions

btw. domain is new so no pr, traffic or anything else. But about 3000 exact monthly searches

Forza is trademarked. Don't sell it or park it. Try to get a refund from your registrar if possible.

Really? Well good for you! You still might have a hard time selling it though just due to the fact that people will THINK it's trademarked (and rightly so). Disregarding that issue, you might get mid $xx from a fan of the game.


Oh, and I'd like to add that you can get free forum software online to create an associated website for it. I'd really try developing it before trying to sell it. Plus, people will likely assume that the name must be okay to register since you made an entire site out of it (I would).

Forza is a trademark, drop the name and move on

A game developer wouldnt have a clue about trademarks, of all the companies you dot want to piss off, Microsoft is one of them

Forza is also an Italian word that means ( in this context ) something like Go in the sense of Go Australia! or Go Ferrari.. or whatever. In Italy it's normally used during soccer matches. You use it that way with the intent of goad/spur someone. ( I hope I got it right with google translator.. )

The regular and most common meaning of the word is strength though.

Yes photonmymind is right. It's an italian word meaning "go" or "strength". If you don't use the site in the intent of benefiting from the Forza Motorsport game series you'll be ok. Don't think there's much value to the domain name though. Maybe low xxx$ for the right buyer.

"Apple" is also a generic word as well, but you cant use that unless you use it for something other than computers
