Penalized because foreign extension???

I have few domains with .fm and .de extensions and I can not find them anywhere on Google search. My similar domains with com and net extension are in top 10.

I'm just wondering if my domains are "penalized" because foreign (not com, net or org) extension.

Well i really dont think so...not sure though would be intrested to know if its the opposite.

I was also under that impression but than way I can not find any foreign domains in top 10 for any common searches?

Which localisation of Google are you using?
Each country's version seems to give preference to pages in its own language and extension.

Go to google.de and google.ca and search for 'bilder' for example.
