Pechino.cn - (beijing.cn in Italian)
Pechino.cn
I think this is a bit tricky to appraise
as it is out of the usual English/ .com
combination. I've got mixed responses
in different places, depending on the
nationality of the place, so I guess it is
wise to add some information.
"Pechino" is "Beijing" (Peking) in Italian.
Notice that "Beijing" & "Peking" under all .cn
extensions were reserved by the Gov't
since the beginning.
For an Italian Pechino (5 millions results on google)
under .cn is like Washington under .US, Moscow under .ru
or Rome under .IT for a Briton or an Indian -
the name of the capital city of an important
country (home of 2008 Olympics) under the ccTLD
of the country (not .com.cn, not .net.cn - .cn itself),
in the language spoken by 50/100 millions of foreign users.
It does have a marginal natural traffic -
it has been checked through the years.
