If you've seen this already apologies for posting it again but I'm yet to have an appraisal and myself have no idea of its value.

Any opinions on this eu.com variation would be greatly appreciated.

you're better off bumping tbh.

Anyway, the reason nobody is replying is because it is such an unknown extension. At present time this domain is not worth anything (although you may get a fool on ebay to give you $50 I guess, if the sales pitch was good). Maybe it will rise in value but the .eu.com will always be in the shadows of .com and even .eu. The reg fee of $27 or whatever it is is steep for an extension that is not well established. You have taken a gamble, and many here could follow you as there are still lots available. I won't be one of them though in all honesty.
Good luck though, I hope your gamble pays off one day!

Thanks gingeman. I appreciate the extension is not well known, as much by myself, which is why I was hoping for some input. I've parked it and I guess I'll wait and see.

Anyone else??

PS: how do I "bump" my thread. I tried to add a reply to my previous thread but it kept placing it inside my first post? Hence I posted again.

Hi Kev - For the most part sub domains are a very long shot and not very likey to get much positive appraisals unfortunately.

I have only seen one .eu.com sale so far which was Sms.eu.com which sold at sedo for 700 euros - There are bound to be more but I have just not seen them.

However - there are 915,000 results on Google for the extension for .eu.com so people are using them/developing with them.

I would just hold out of an end user that does not mind about it being a subby :) however this may take time.

I have a few .web.com domains which is more or less the same thing but at least they were very cheap at $5 for 2 years.

The highest offer I have received for a subby is ยฃ100 which I turned down, hey - they are reg'd for two years anyway so I can wait.

Good luck and nice choice of letters :)

.

I peronally think, pc would have been better but maybe that was taken. I am not aware of this ext, is it a sub domain or an actualy ext? I think its just like .web.com

Poker.web.com went for alot, may be .eu.com would have good sales in the future as well who knows, so better just hold this name for sometime.

IMHO, in the short term, non domainers are more bound to type .eu.com than .eu when trying to reach a .eu address because of 'the .com habit'...
That said, I dont see much value in 'PCS', if it was PC sure.
I have quite a few .eu.com that are getting decent traffic (more than their .eu counterparts in some cases).
all you can do is get some PPC off those.

Word of factual encouragement -

Sold Men.eu.com for $200 recently. There is a market for solid subdomains.
