PayPal - MassPay - Need your help!

I am trying to make a PayPal Masspay payment with my account right now. I think I have put 30 minutes into this already, and am getting very frustrated. I have had a verified/Business account for years with at least 1000 transactions, but have never made a masspay payment.

I have read a few of the 40 page instructions on how to do this on PayPals site and have come up with more frustration, and I am on the phone waiting for a PayPal Repp to get back to me right now, who also has no friggen idea..Nice Music though...

Well I am trying to pay a few auction winnings off right now, and am trying to avoid the extra 4% charge, so I want to try the MassPay option. Well, Its not working and I am so close to paying the additional 4% right now, but figured I would turn to you guys for one last ditch effort.

I go to the Masspay page, and try uploading my .PDF invoice.
MassPay doesn't accept .PDF, but they do accept .txt, so I go and create a txt file in my notepad, and I think I am doing that correctly but as I hit upload it won't accept my txt file and gives me this message,

This mass payment cannot be processed because there is an error in the file format. Please make sure that the file is tab-delimited or comma separated and that each entry has a corresponding email address, payment amount, and currency code. In addition, please specify only one type of currency per Mass Payment file.

Ok, first off I don't know what Tab-delimited means, and secondly I believe I have done the omma seperated correctly. here is the way in which I created that notepad txt file (atual numbers are disguised, not sure why, but maybe I just like being mysterious I guess, lol)

have you tried without commas. As i see it you use them in your text but i could be that they think there are three fields ?!

have you tried without commas. As i see it you use them in your text but i could be that they think there are three fields ?!

Oh, yeah I see, that comma after Thank you is probably screwing it up...hold on lemme re-try it.

tab delimited means you hit the tab key between entries to separate them.

remove the commas and spaces and put a tab instead.

Please make sure that the file is tab-delimited
since I have not hit the tab, and I only have one line, It should accept my txt file then right?

Does that look like it should work?

I just went back to their FAQ page, and it shows 5 fields, so that means only 4 commas and thats what I have but it still wont acept my file???

Paypal's instructions for doing a masspay are too complicated imho.

Simple instructions:
1. Open up notepad, or a similar text editor.
2. This is the format for a mass pay. Each payment you send goes on a new line. <tab> means hit the TAB key.

emailaddress<tab>$20.00<tab>USD<tab>optional unique identifier, name, etc<tab>optional notes

3. Save the file as a text file, I call mine masspay.txt

4. On Paypal's website, choose the mass pay option and upload your textfile.
