is this a new thing by paypal?

i had to change my password...fine
i had to chnge my security question....fine
i had to add a bank account...WTF i aint got one

Im unverified, is this a new thing by paypal to make everyone verify themselves, or is it just because paypal hate me?

Maybe due to a lot of people opening accounts, scamming and then shutting down there making is all get verified???

I recieve emails like that about 3-4 times a day. I reported it to paypal and they said that its a spoof email. They told me they would research it, but they never got back to me on what it is............. Still receieving the emails also.

Yep, spot on, it prevents scammers as much as possible, and its easier to find them too.....

So its not just me, Thankfully, ill have to get parents CC later on lol

and myne was an email linking me to my paypal acct, but instead of clicking email links as sometimes there spoofed, i went to paypal.com logged in, went to resolution centre and got that

Yeah, so work and some don't. I'm getting really tired of guessing which ones are spoof and which ones are not. Makes me not want to use paypal anymore. Which soon will be the case.

Paypal requires, bank account, and a verified address now. Or you will have limited access. This prevents scammers.
