Hi all!
So I'm trying to build a website with Wordpress and thought id use woocommerce and paypal. I've been fairly successful so far being as I've never made a website before and I'm just figuring out Wordpress with no research (doh), but when I performed a test transaction through paypal, they took 33% process fee! Why might this be? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, personally, I'd use Stripe if your doing anything less than $5,000/m. There's a good comparison between them here. Both companies charge a base rate of 2.9% + 30¢, but the more money you spend on Paypal, the better your rates get. Paypal is also much more expensive upfront with their service fees.

Was the test transaction for $1?

I believe their fees to be 2.9% + $0.30, does this make sense ?
