Paying more for security?

Given the various scams that occur with stolen domain names, does the security of a registrar factor into your decision to register or transfer a domain name? Also, would you pay more for a registrar that offers more security?

Not really.

I select a quality registrar, so security comes along with it. Fabulous is a really good one.

Yup! I see a lot of people here renewing and regging at various places just to save a couple of bucks. Not worth it to me. I use Moniker and a couple of others I can feel fairly save with, and don't use any other one. Security and quality is more important to me than saving a couple of bucks. JMO.

Moniker is so secure, which is why I've been regging there more often now, but i still like godaddy. I'd say godaddy isn't as secure, but it's still a great registrar.
