I was wondering how much would the owner of this domain ask for it, since the keyword is my name in my native language and it would be great for my personal blog, so I contacted him/his broker and the answer was:

with current oil bubble fueling Russian economy / personal income low-mid $xx,xxx does not seem unreachable really
there many wealthy people in Russia that could easily afford it even at $53K - i frankly see nothing ridiculous in their asking price

owned by Name Administration Inc. (BVI) - i suppose they are fully aware of the name's value

i would not consider any offers below high $x,xxx if i owned the name
this is a premium vanity name, you need to be ready to pay that premium if you really want to get it

Poplar name in Czech as well, but too high price for Czech market, since .cz is the king extension. I thought .sk is the king in Slovakia, so why don't you try your ccTLD?

Pavel.SK is also taken and it has been renewed three months ago, so I think the guy wants to keep it. I wrote him about buying his domain, I'm not sure he will be interested, because he has this family blog on that domain.
