I have all of my domain names re-direct to the page that allows anybody to submit an offer to me. I also am selling them on SeDo but decided not to park them.
My reasoning is that a lot of people who are searching for their business domain name don't know much about buying domains. So, instead of looking things up in the WHOIS database - they simply type a domain name in the browser window and see "if it's taken".

What do you think?

I utilize both strategies ...

In regards to inquiries via parking, I've had good success with NameDrive - their "inquire about this domain" link is more inviting to many potential buyers than an auction link asking for a bid.

I do the same. Have a portfolio web site (see sig) that is easily managed via Google Apps. Majority of the domains are parked on Bodis. A few are minimally developed just to have some backlinks. Portfolio are on both Sedo and Afternic.

Good luck!

If the domains get a good bit of traffic I tend to park them and make sure there is a link to contact me if they wish to buy it. However if the domain is not receiving a good amount of traffic and is not worth parking I will put a for sale page up on it eg.

www.ausgoldsoftware.com

I tend to find that names that have good resale potential but little traffic are better off advertising themselves for sale rather than making a few cents in parking income. This is just my strategy but it has worked quite well over time.

A .com domain name only needs to make about .60 per month (registration fee % 12) to pay for itself, if the domain name pays for itself or does better than pay for itself I see no hurry in selling it as it generates profit so I would rotate it around through sedo, namedrive, parked, fabulous, domain sponsor, bodis, etc... and find out where it makes the most per month and leave it, if the domain is a complete dog and only makes pennies per month no matter where you park it then I would go the for sale page method, fabulous.com probably has the most noticable "for sale" sign and namedrive isn't bad either, both located directly at the top of the page if looking to park at a company where the "for sale" sign can't be missed if selling is your #1 concern.
