Hi,

Just curious to know which method is better for Fast domain sales..

1) Parking the name at Sedo or other such site
2) Develop a 1 or few page minisite / WP Site
3) Fully develop site to attract visitors

I personally feel that 1st method is good, but still i am not sure as i dont have much experience..So pls share your valuable thoughts..

I think it's becoming more important to buyers for you to keep your domains out of the Google sandbox. So, unless you plan to make quite a bit of revenue from parking or affiliates, I'd set up a small site (3 pages) with relevant, original content, and add a link listing the Domain for Sale.

Be sure to list your name for sale at sedo, afternic, etc...

I am at the same point brother !!

I personally had no success in selling domain names, but I have sold quite a few parked domain names, and many developed domain names.

+ Go for minisite if you have many domains.
+ Develop the site fully if you think the domain is good and can get a "concept".
+ Park if above does not work :P

I will also be looking here to get more knowledge too! Thanks ddesigns for starting this thread :)

I definitely agree with yandig, developing domains into a minisite and allow them to age will definitely add more values to the domain itself.

How about parking domain at Sedo by selecting right category, is that the better option ??

Everyone has their own methods, and everyone has their own winning formula. DomainBell, a long time member here has a website listing all of their domains for sale.

That being said i personally recommend always developing the website if it's not a dictionary term or a top 5 searched term.

Minisites work, but lets face it they're spam to the world. You add value with pagerank, and traffic so why develop a subpar website that drives any organic traffic away when you can spend the extra time and hopefully earn yourself more cash.

Top keyword domains and such i recommend listing on sedo, it's the number one after market, marketplace and has the best chance of offering a buyer.

Is always best to develop at least a five page site, it doesn't take much time (you can get it done with two hours), and it definitely looks better for a potential buyer and also for SEO purposes.
