Generally - how does parkings work? Where do they take ads from? How do they serve them to parked domains?

The ads usually come from people advertising using AdWords (Google) or Overture (Yahoo). Parking companies aggregate these ads and create "landing pages" that people land on to get to the ads. The ad revenue is split between Yahoo/Google, the parking company, and the domainer.
