I just picked up a few Dutch/Sweedish/German .com domain names from important high dollar industries.

Before I park the names to determine traffic flow and next steps, I wanted to receive your feedback.

Parken.com - Park / Parking
Forsikring.com - Insurance
Forsikringer.com - Insurances
Internetbanken.com - Internet Bank / Banking
Netbanken.com - ""
Webbanken.com - ""
Ebanken.com - ""
E-banken.com - ""

Parken means more like "The park" or "Park", it does not mean "Parking" ;).
Internetbanken is a typo im afraid, here we write Internett with two t's in the end. Same goes for Nettbanken with two t's.

So the ones with only one "t" in them is regfee in my eyes, im a norwegian by the way, and all these are norwegian words.

"Banken" means "The bank". Like, "I love the bank". Our grammar is very different!. hehe.

I'd say Forsikring/forsikringer and parken.com could potentially be worth between mid xxx to low xxxx IMO.

The rest are regfee's.

However, good luck,
Andree

Andree, you are only speaking about your language.

"Internetbanken" has about 500X the number of references as "Internettbanken"... check it out on Google.

Well, as far as it goes for Forsikring/forsikringer its Norwegian. Not swedish or danish.

Im not that sure about the "internet" versus "internett" thingy, but as you mentioned, it does have more hits on google, even if isnt that many.

I've found out that they write "internet" in sweden, and they offcourse use the word "bank(en)" as us. So the additional hits on e.g: internetbanken is swedish hits. Only swedish too, not danish or norwegian. So the domains you have are kindoff limited to one country only!.

Regardless of technicalities, I think the Forsikring.com domain is very nice. Low $x,xxx at least, and my new domain system in the works says about 1,561 USD. Since it is Danish/German, you will have a harder time finding a buyer at a higher value since less of the world's Internet population speaks that, but good luck!

Actually "Forsikring" is just Norwegian, not swedish/danish or dutch/german. So unless you find a enduser in Norway, I doubt you'll ever find one!. However, im sure there are a few :)

Good luck again,
Andree

Yo! I've done more research.

Probably should have done lots more before my mid-to-high $XXXX purchase of the 4 names. I'm pleased though... check this out.

FORSIKRING
Go to Google.com and type "forsikring"... you will be shocked at the # of end-users on that term. 6MM+ matches.

Big insurance companies.... looks like .dk and .no...

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=forsikring&btnG=Google+Search

INTERNETBANKEN
.DE, .SE and .DK - big banks.

http://www.google.com/search?q=internetbanken&hl=en&safe=off&start=10&sa=N

PARKEN
Over 23MM searches. Mostly .dk, but also last names around the world.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=parken&btnG=Search

Yeah, im not shocked at all, but I doubt they will be interested in the .com domain, why should they?. They only have customers in Norway, most of the big ones anyway, and if they are around elsewhere they prefer to have the cctld of that country. Thats atleast my experience with such companies, same with banks. Atleast banks that actually exist, by that I mean they have a building you can cashout and deposit money in. hehe.

When it comes to "Parken.com" i'd see that as a perfect domain for someone renting out servers or something like that "Server Parken". Means the same as "Server Park"

Good luck again

"parken" means "to park" in german. Could be a car or a website.

Although "banken" is the plural of "bank" in Dutch, it does sounds weird to me (I'm Dutch). The other names don't sound Dutch at all.

Except for Parken.com as this is a Dutch word, but as mentioned before not the right word for Parking but it is the 100% translation of the plural of Park as in...are you going go the Park to have a picnic.

Question is how can you make good use of such a domain Jeremy?

Other Dutch or German domains are not in the list though...at least that would make sense. Even though Banken is the plural of Bank in Dutch, in the context of the domains shown it's not being used by the people of The Netherlands.

Plus the majority of the Dutch people are with the big 4 banks in Holland.

I'm seeing a lot of references of Online Banking - Internet Banking but not InternetBanken on websites of German Banks.

FORSIKRING.COM is a great domain in my opinion by seeing the results from the Google query. I'm sure an end user is out there wanting to make use of the .com version.
